Departments who have access to and individuals who operate motorized vehicles that are not licensed for street use must abide by specific procedures to ensure safety protocols intended to reduce the risk of accidents, incidents, and injuries. Examples of such vehicles include owned and rented golf carts and other 3 and 4-wheeled type vehicles that are powered by electric or internal combustion engines, unless specifically stated otherwise. Tractors or other heavy machinery are not included.
